950 CR 442, Mercury, Texas 76872

Two creeks, huge live oaks, and an unhistorical log cabin = a place to hunt, explore, and get away.

Both creeks meander through the property, giving it a feel much larger than its acreage. Deep Creek runs through the middle, with a rock-bottom, all weather – unless after a flood of course, crossing at the south end and a UTV crossing at the north end. Huge live oaks line the creeks and are scattered throughout the property. In the creek, there are Native American grain drill holes in the rock and arrowheads, fossils, and unusual rocks will keep the kids entertained while hiking.

The log cabin is modest, around 1,300 sq. ft., and offers two bedrooms, a full bath, and a kitchen with a washer and dryer. A large fireplace and vaulted ceiling highlight the living area. Water is supplied by a well with electricity provided by Oncor.

Located about halfway between Brady and Brownwood in big-buck country, this property offers excellent hunting and plenty to explore. A great weekend getaway or bug-out place when you’re ready to leave town behind.
